Ledger's death is ruled accidental
The death of Australian actor Heath Ledger has been ruled accidental by the Freshly York City Medical Examiner's Office.
The office said today that the 28-year-old thespian died due to the misuse of prescription medications.
A statement said: "Mr Heath Ledger died as the consequence of ague toxic condition by the combined personal effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, xanax, and doxylamine."
"We have concluded that the way of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications."
The actor's family unit released a statement locution: "Today's results put an end to surmisal, just our son's beautiful spirit and enduring memory will forever and a day remain in our hearts."
"While no medications were taken in inordinateness, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy."
The argument likewise said: "Heath's accidental last serves as a forethought to the hidden dangers of combination prescription medication, even at depression dose."
Ledger was plant dead at his Newly House of York flat on 22 January.
